Albert's in the Community - February 2020
Albert's Diamond Jewelers has strong ties to many charities in the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area. Each year, Albert's Diamond Jewelers hosts a live auction to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis with 100% of the proceeds donated to research for this disease. It is a charity that is dear to the Halpern family as Donna, wife of Fred Halpern and mother to Josh, has suffered from this currently incurable disease for most of her life.
Albert's also participates in various charitable events throughout the year including Northwest Indiana Chapters of The American Cancer Society, Parkinson's Foundation, The Humane Society, The Kidney Foundation, The Heart Association, Tradewinds, Global Enrichment Foundation/Convoy for Hope, and foundations which foster art education for youths. These are just a small representation of our current commitments.
If you represent a charitable organization and would like to inquire about a donation from Albert's, please stop by our Schererville store Monday-Friday, and ask for Cynthia. Please bring all relevant paperwork for your event or cause. We ask for at least 60 to 90 days advance notice for donation requests.

20 Years Later, Region Couple Says I Do Once Again At Albert's Diamond Jewelers
February 14th, 2020Valentine's Day 2020 marked 22 years of Albert's Diamond Jeweler's "I Do" event. Nearly 20 couples, along with their friends and families, made their way down the aisle. Each of their stories is unique, but this year, a particularly heartfelt story emerged - the decades-long love story of Mary Ellen and Roy Slazyk.
