Shinola is one of watchmaking’s newest designers. This Detroit-based brand was started in 2011, but it wasn’t until 2012 for them to purchase a factory and begin production. There, they made history, for this factory was the first watchmaking production center to open for 50 years. They’ve created several of today’s most popular watches. In addition to watches, Shinola offers many fine products like leather purses, bicycles, and more. Still, it’s their watches that are the heart and soul of the company.
