Stores Temporarily Closed
Update 04/01/20 – Albert’s has extended our temporary closing until May 1st. If there are any future updates we will keep everyone notified.
Albert’s Jewelers has been closely monitoring current global events with Covid-19 and the government’s evolving position on this matter. The severity and continued exposure across the country has prompted us to temporarily close for the safety of our employees and community. This decision was not made lightly, a dialogue was opened with staff, management, and ownership before the final decision was made. In closing we hope and anticipate being part of the solution to slow the spread of COVID-19, and encourage other local non-essential businesses to do the same. We anticipate being open on or around May 1st and will keep everyone updated as best we can. During this time, we will not be monitoring normal and standard communications until the store reopens.
A few answers to some of the repeated FAQ we have been getting are below
Q: If Albert’s temporarily closes and I left my jewelry at Albert’s will it still be safe.
A: Albert’s has state of the art security systems in place with redundancies. All jewelry that is currently trusted to our store is put in the highest quality vaults and safes, along with additional security measures for protections.
Q: Will I be able to make purchases or pickup jewelry from the store even though you are closed.
A: At this point we remain committed to being part of the solution and not the problem which will require minimal physical contact and social distancing as suggested by the federal government. We will fulfill online orders as they come in and will only be able to ship those items out.
Q: I have a credit account at Albert’s & normally come in to make a payment. What can I do?
A: Albert’s will still be accepting payments for credit and layaway accounts through standard mail, our online portal, and payments over the phone if you can’t make it in person. You may reach out to us by texting 219-322-2700, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or messaging us online. Please provide a contact name and way to reach back out to you.
Q: I have a Birthday/Anniversary promotion for $50 off of $100 can I still use this?
A: As the stores will be closed you can use these great promotions online at our website on any online purchase. In addition any that expire during our temporary closing will still be valid for up to one month after the store reopens regardless of expiration.
Q: I have a Piece of Mind Warranty plan on my jewelry and it is due to be inspected and maintained during the store closing. What can I do to make sure the warranty is still valid and does not expire?
A: Albert’s will be extending the due date of the mandatory Peace of Mind Cleaning and Inspection. If your plan was to expire within 30 days of Albert’s Temporary closing due to not having this inspection, you will have 30 more days from the time Albert’s reopens to have your jewelry cleaned and inspected in order to keep this plan valid.
Q: Will your pawn and gold buy services still be open even with the store being closed?
A: Unfortunately, we will not be able to service any pawn or gold buys again until we reopen. We are anticipating reopening on or around May 1st.
